Reading in EYFS
At St Matthew’s, we use Read Write Inc. Phonics to teach children the essential skills they need to become confident, fluent readers. Through daily, systematic phonics lessons, children learn to recognise and blend sounds, develop accurate decoding skills and build a strong foundation for reading fluently and with understanding.
